Meet Miranda
Hi, I’m Miranda!
Pepper Design Studios is a creative studio rooted in a love of fashion, textiles, and craftsmanship. My journey began when my Grammy taught me how to quilt and use a sewing machine, sparking a passion for creating things by hand.
When I’m not in the studio, you’ll find me fencing, baking, exploring new places, or spending time with my two silly dogs. These experiences inspire my creativity and reinforce my belief that great design should be both chic and enduring.
Today, I combine fashion design, leatherwork, quilting, and textile science to create pieces that are both beautiful and functional. From sketch to finished product, every design is thoughtfully crafted with an emphasis on quality, sustainability, and timeless style. My curiosity about materials extends beyond fashion. Fun fact, I was part of the student-led Golden Record 2.0 project, an international effort to create a modern successor to the Voyager Golden Record. That experience deepened my interest in how design, science, and technology intersect, and even sparked a fascination with the future of wearable technology and space suit design.
